HAPPY BOYS AND GIRLS And the streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in the streets thereof. (Zechariah 8:5). Today will be a happy day for you. The Lord will fulfill the above verse in your life, in your street and in your community. It is a promise God made for the future at the time of the millennium. That is the time when Jesus will come again to establish His one thousand years of peaceful reign on earth. But for you, the fulfillment of the promise begins in earnest. Notice the security that exists in the community. Boys and girls are not afraid of moving out of their houses. They are out there on the streets because it was safe. No kidnappers, no armed robbers, no hooligans and ritual killers to terrorize the kids. As you go out today, the Lord will make the streets safe for you. He will protect you with His mighty power and no harm will reach you in Jesus name. That is not all. You can see that the boys and girls mentioned above were playing. Of course, only healthy boys and girls play. Sick boys and girls do not engage in recreation in the streets. They will be somewhere in the house or hospital receiving treatment. That will not be your portion. You will be one of the playing people today who will enjoy divine health and healing. The Lord will visit you if you are sick and raise you up so you too can join the healthy ones playing. Remember too that playing children are joyful children. God will wipe every sorrow from your life in Jesus name. You will be fulfilled as you join your friends and neighbors praising the Lord who is good and gracious to His people.
