HAPPY EASTER - ENJOY THE PUNCH! Today hundreds of millions of people will congregate in churches around the world to take communion - drinking the blood and eating the flesh of... (I cant even get to the next part, because - well, billions of other people think this is all just too bizarre to contemplate.) Some progressive modern denominations might consider this passage to be a metaphor or symbolic that require scholarly interpretation (usually in an attempt to merely distance themselves from the creepiness of the blood rituals). However, what is there to interpret? Jesus himself used the words REAL food and REAL drink... These arent our words, folks - Jesus said em! Say what you will about Muslims, Jews, Buddhists, and Scientologists - but at least they dont celebrate by drinking the blood and eating the flesh of their founders. Happy Easter, everybody!
