HAPPY NEW YEARS to all of our friends and family. May this year be filled with good health, happiness, love, faithfulness to Our Lord, and good times with our Families. As I reflect over the last two years I think they have been the worst of my life. Bailey was diagnosed with Cancer in May 2013 followed by months of treatment and in February 2014 after being in remission only 3 months we were told the cancer was back and very aggressive. That was followed by surgery in March and treatment again until August when we started the process for Stem Cell Transplant. We have completed the first transplant with many complications and now will start 2015 with the second transplant . I honestly dont know where the last 2 years have gone. In some respect they have dragged on forever and in others I can barely remember where the time went. And although they have been the worst 2 years... So much love, support, friendship and many many blessing have been shared with our family. We have made the best of friends through this Journey and we have had so much love and support from our community, church and so many people we dont even know. Our friends new and old have called, sent cards and texts to continuously encourage our family. We have opened a card or letter and there would be a check or a gift card at a time when we were wondering how we were going to make it finiancially through the next day. So although it has been the worst it has also been the best. Because God has showed us that he does not put you in the deepest Valley and leave you... He is there to bless you even when you cant see the blessings. I would never chose for Bailey to have Cancer but I cannot tell you how strong my familys Faith is right now. Our family has learned to totally give it all to God because we dont know any other way. We have seen and felt him calm the storms in our lives. He has put people in our lives when we needed it most but more than anything he has kept us right in the palm of his hand. All three of my kids know Gods Power because they have witnessed it. And our family has all felt a deep sorrow with Baileys cancer. It is a sorrow that can only be made better because we know God is in control. So as we start a New Year we are only going to focus on how great this New Year is going to be!! We are going to cling close to our old and new friends, we are going to rely on our church and community for love and support, we are going to thank God for our Facebook Family and most of all we are going to Praise God in This Storm. Because we know that in 2015 our storm is going to pass, we know we are going to hear the words CANCER FREE, we know there is going to be people out there that is going to see the MIRACLE that God is going to do in Baileys life and those people are going to fall on their knees and accept God. And because we are all going to see Gods work done and know that there is no doubt he is the great HEALER.... These last two years will be worth it all. So HappyNew Years to all of our sweet friends and family.... We truly love you ALL!! May 2015 be the best year of your Life!!
