HAPPY REPUBLIC DAY TO ALL We are celebrating 65 th Republic day to day.Despite several shortcomings and perfidy of people on choice of the path of development, the Republic survived for the last 64 years., where it has failed in many countries. However, India is still plagued by abysmal poverty, gruesome hunger, staggering unemployment and rampant inequality. The reason is not that we do not have resources as government claims, but unequal distribution of wealth .Rich are getting richer and poor are getting poorer. In past, we suffered at the hand of many despotic King in monarchy. Government is more subservient to imperialistic suzerainty. Even today we continue to suffer at the hand of many corrupt minister/politicians. Election has become also a rich man game. Person without money and muscle power cannot dream of contesting election. Tragically, with the pre-eminence of the extreme rightwing to power and their intolerance to criticism, the democracy is in jeopardy. As being the part of World’s biggest Democracy, our role and responsibility has grown manifold today.
