HAPPY WEDNESDAY!!! Check-in time! What day you on and how you feeling? TODAYS TIP: Lets talk about snacks! First and foremost....Dont think diet... Think Detox Cleanse... So calories and serving sizes are not the focus. So there are no hard, fast rules... But you should snack when youre hungry and in moderation. You have to learn to eat in moderation... Trying to eat by counting calories and serving sizes wont create a lifestyle change... Youll just be on a diet for life... And I dont know about you...but Im done with DIETING! 95% of people who lose weight on a fad diet gain it back in 3-5 years. So, youre changing your eating habits for life. Youre re-training your taste buds to desire and crave healthier foods! So, snack to avoid feeling too hungry! Having said all that LOL! The one caution I would give is on nuts and seeds... They are healthy fats, but still a fat nonetheless. They can work against you if you eat too many... For a snack of nuts and seeds, think a handful! For all other snacks, (crunchy raw veggies and fruits, unsweetened peanut butter, hard boiled eggs, etc)... ENJOY!!!
