HARE KRSNA IT IS ALL A MATTER OF - GOLD & MONEY MATTERS....!!! As we read and introspect even on the first verse of The Srimad Bhagavad Gita, it may be in order for us, to learn great lessons from the first page of the sacred scripture. Most of the battles and wars as described in the Hindu Scripture do convey a glaring lesson to those interested in racing the highways of material lives and very focussed in :winning, competing, contrasting, manipulating and controlling things and people around them...!!! Interim King Dhrtarashtra got too interested in the Gold crown he was supposed to wear only for a short time and then decided it was rightfully his and could win on the battlegrounds in Lord Krsnas Divine presence. Similarly, Ravana had a city of Gold and thought he could snatch Goddess Sita and control Lord Rama and his family. Hiranyakashipu had too much ego and Gold and wanted to control a devotee son. Maharaj Parakshit, a righteous King, insulted a brahman, only after wearing a Gold crown. And last but not the least, King Kamsa, thought he could easily compete with the powers of Lord KRSNA...!!! All of the above ONLY for : Power, Control, Greed, Gold, Fortune, Fame, Hypocrisy, Violence, Estates and Self glory, But, by using unfair means and actions.........!!!! Thus, reading Even a single verse of the Srimad Bhagavad Gita, sometimes, may just be what the doctor ordered in our self-consumed lives: adhyo bhijanavanasmi ko nyo sti sadrso maya yakse dasyami modisya ityajnana vimohitah I am rich and well born. Who else is like unto me ? I will sacrifice, I will give and I will rejoice. Lord Krsna cautions arjuna of avoiding Pride, hypocrisy, greed, fame and fortune : [B.G. 16:15]. May Lord Krsna Always Bless us in our homes and in HIS own Home, to always make the right choices when around HIM and for HIM.....!!!
