HAVE YOU FLED? Then said he to the multitude that came forth to be baptized of him, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come. Luke 3:7 These became the messages of John when He noticed that several people had come to be baptized of him as a show of repentance and by that baptism they escaped the wrath of God that is coming on all unrepentant sinners. How many times shall we read about the fate of sinners before we understand how serious is it? How many times shall we hear about the wrath of God on unbelievers before we take it to mind? How many times shall the term ‘eternal (everlasting) damnation’ be explained before we do something about it? It’s only a tree that would know or be told that it will be axed down and yet remains where it is. When a law doesn’t have strict punishment for it’s offenders that law won’t be obeyed. God’s law has strict punishment to all those who spurn their opportunity to be saved by neglecting to acknowledge Christ as their Lord and Savior and He is faithful in carrying out every detail of His dreadful pronouncements on unbelievers. It’s no wise to read about HELL FIRE and yet you don’t do anything about it. The only way to be saved from the wrath of God that is to come is for someone to sincerely repent by confessing Christ with his mouth as His Lord and Savior and believe in his heart that He died and God raised Him up from the death for his sake. Be sincere to yourself, have you fled from the wrath to come? Remember Christ is coming very soon!!! To give your life to Christ repeats this prayer: Lord Jesus, today I confess you as my Lord and personally savior, I believe in my heart that you died and God resurrected you for my sake. I ask that you come into my life. I know that I’m born again; I’m saved from the wrath to come. I’m a child of God. Thank you for coming into my life in Jesus name. Amen.
