Well Im just returning from a Volvo search that has lead down one coast to South Fl and up the other coast to North Fl and of course I stayed a few days in Daytona to hit the waves that are always nice! My 2004 VOLVO S60R just hit 259,000 miles on this trip and it is such a great road car! 300 HP top speed of 155 mph and drivability that is amazing. I have all scheduled service performed at POPULAR MECHANIX as I encourage my customers to do and this VOLVO runs flawlessly.Being that I own my own Dealership (DVM AUTOSALES LLC) I am often asked why do you drive an older high mileage Volvo? Well because I can and that leaves me money to travel and live a simple life with very few debts. Of course I have to do the regular maintenance as with any car tires,belts hoses,brakes,T belt and so on but hey you have to shoe a horse right?. When the time comes to replace this R I am planning on finding another R perhaps a 2006 with a 100,000 miles or a 2008 VOLVO S80 T6 AWD see video >>>>>> (youtube/watch?v=cUvPt8Wapg8) but that will not be for at least another 100,000 miles :~) That is the beauty of the VOLVO BRAND they are not only safe,comfortable and,reliable they are built for the long haul!
