HC- Remove IG, DIG Kanpur immediately The Allahabad High Court, Lucknow Bench today showed deep displeasure over the State government not removing the IG, Zone and DIG, Range of Kanpur and ordered that these two, along with all the other police officers involved with this matter must be removed immediately. The Bench headed by Justice Imtiyaz Murtaza and Justice D K Upadhyaya gave this order in hearing of matter taken cognizance suo-motu by the Court along with the PIL filed by me regarding doctor’s strike. Meanwhile today senior advocate Anil Tiwari appeared on behalf of the Uttar Pradesh Medical Association and said that he wanted to represent their case. He objected to the name of retired Justice R M Chauhan as the head of the Judicial enquiry panel.
