HEAD OF STYLING required for Brown Sugar Hair Resumes by close of business 27 January 2015 to email: brownsugarhair.au Position has responsibility for the professionalism and output of other stylist/colour technicians. Duties: Supporting the Salon Manager and the company’s business objectives by: o Client assessment and treatment plans and advice on hair options, styles, products, haircare o Ensure other stylists and trainees are given the opportunity to observe your specialist styling and colouring techniques o Hair cutting, styling and colour treatments in up to date styles o Undertaking specialist hair styles, such as hair extensions, braiding, hair straightening o Men’s hairdressing advice and styling, beard styling, shaving and trimming o Styling, cutting of hair pieces and wigs for special occasion wear o Maintain knowledge of new hair cutting, colouring methods, trends, treatments, chemical and natural products options o Ensure trainees develop their skills shampooing, client head massage, blow drying, client discussion to learn appropriate and professional client management skills o Monitor trainees and individual stylists/colour technicians to identify their competencies and any skills they need so Salon Manager can determine training requirements o Ensuring other stylists keep their work spaces clean and tidy and maintain sanitized cutting equipment
