HEAD SCRATCHING TIME ... One of the most difficult concepts to understand about the RFOG is that the American people did not “create” it by constitution. In one sense, the Declaration of Independence created the “republican form” when it declared that all men (Americans*) were created equal *(under American law). If all are equal, no one is superior. No one MONARCH could be sovereign, nor could the servant government. All Americans could be sovereigns, if they so have chosen. Those Americans who chose to institute or submit to the terms (constitution) of an organized government, descended in status to subjects. A constitution (compact) can create an indirect democracy, democracy or a constitutionally limited monarchy. But no constitution can create a republican form.
