***HEADCANON*** George Weasley needs ingredients for a new potion of his and the plant he’s looking for grows in excess in The Forbidden Forest. Due to his history at Hogwarts, Minerva allowed him access to the forest without a second thought. While collecting the plants he needed, he happened across a strange stone that he kicked loose when trying to clear an area with his feet. It wasn’t until he picked the stone up and turned it around in his hands in an attempt to wipe the dirt away did he realize that it was much more than just a regular stone.
