Col 4:6 The spring of waters had been contaminated and now death and barrenness flowed from it. To heal it, Elijah took a pot of salt and cast into the very source of the spring and the water was healed. Negative people have many times spoilt a situation by the comments they made. As Elijah cast in salt, we must also remember that we are the salt of the earth and our entrance into a situation ought to make it better not worse. We should learn the art of skillful and soothing speaking so that situations get better not worse. In us, through us and by us, hope, joy, laughter and encouragement should flow. Let us heal the land as the salt that we have been called to be. Let our words help every situation that seems bad, let the weak be encouraged by it. In this we would have done some good as Jesus taught. PRAYER CONFESSION: In Jesus Name I Declare my words are full of grace and wisdom. I speak words of life.
