Alhamdullillah.. in this drought season. It has already rain for a few days now. And I for one cannot be more thankful. Some people grumble at everything. They grumble when there no rain, and they grumble when there is too much rain. As a muslim.. heres a little heads up. God dont have to cater to you and you alone. He is is the Almighty that knows all and sees all My wife related to me, how someone, who no longer lives in Singapore, pointed out that we, as Muslims in Singapore, did not conduct prayers to wish for rain. And even when pointed out that we did do it, she seemed to imply that we JUST did it as if to imply the little significance of what efforts we do as Muslims in Singapore. Dont be so quick to belittle us here in this small island nation. We might be oppressed some what, but we still have a mind of our own. And we certainly dont appreciate people who used to live her passing remarks like we cant properly operate in your ideal as a Muslim. Im not naming names here. I think most of us who read this post would agree how rather misguided some people think Muslims should be. Open the Kitab. Learn it proper and look at the mirror FIRST before you point things out. والله أعلمُ بالـصـواب
