They say hearing is a physiological phenomenon while listening is a psychological act.listening is a neurological cognitive regarding the processing of auditory stimuli received by the auditory system.hearing occurs most of the time subconsciously but listening is an interpretive action taken by the listener in order to understand and potentially make meaning out of the sound waves.1 kings 3:9.solomon asks here for wisdom in verse 9 solomon specifically asked for a hearing heart(literary)listening involves the heart.listening determines how the sound we hear will affect us and hence emotions.emotions is the driving force behind motivatiön.what we listen to will result to emotiöns that will either affect our relationship with God either positively or negatively.wisdom remains supreme!matthew 13:44,Jeremiah 29:13.its costly to find wisdom to the extent of surrendering everything to acquire it!it all starts with listening and searching for wisdom!
