HELL IS A REAL PLACE OF ETERNAL PUNISHMENT !! A flood of false doctrine has lately broken in upon us. Men are beginning to tell us that God is too merciful to punish souls for ever...that all mankind, however wicked and ungodly...will sooner or later be saved. We are to embrace what is called kinder theology, and treat hell as a pagan fable...This question lies at the very foundation of the whole Gospel. The moral attributes of God, His justice, His holiness, His purity, are all involved in it. The Scripture has spoken plainly and fully on the subject of hell... If words mean anything, there is such a place as hell. If texts are to be interpreted fairly, there are those who will be cast into it !! The same Bible which teaches that God in mercy and compassion sent Christ to die for sinners, does also teach that God hates sin, and must from His very nature punish all who cleave to sin or refuse the salvation He has provided. God knows that I never speak of hell without pain and sorrow. I would gladly offer the salvation of the Gospel to the very chief of sinners. I would willingly say to the vilest and most profligate of mankind on his deathbed, Repent, and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved. But God forbid that I should ever keep back from mortal man what scripture reveals about hell as well as heaven...that men may be lost as well as saved. BY J.C.RYLE ! Eternal Punishment: Matt. 25:46, And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life. The word eternal in both places is aionios which means 1) without beginning and end, that which always has been and always will be; 2) without beginning; 3) without end, never to cease, everlasting. The word punishment is the word kolasis and it means to punish, with the implication of resulting severe suffering - to punish, punishment. The hope of the gospel is that Jesus died for sinners and bore the just penalty for their sins ! Now God offers a full and free pardon and salvation from sin to those who repent and surrender to the Lord Jesus ! {Rom.5:7-11,1st Peter 3:18,John6:47,Acts 3:19} Please my friends chose Jesus Christ. You can receive Christ right now. Remember that Jesus says, Im standing at the door and Im knocking. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in. If you dont know Jesus as your personal Savior just pray this simple pray and you will be saved The precise words you use to commit yourself to God are not important. He knows the intentions of your heart. If you are unsure of what to pray, this might help you put it into words: Jesus, I want to know you. I want you to come into my life. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sin so that I could be fully accepted by you. Only you can give me the power to change and become the person you created me to be. Thank you for forgiving me and giving me eternal life with God. I give my life to you. Please do with it as you wish. Amen.
