HELLO ALL MY DEAR FACEBOOK FRIENDS, it has been awhile since I have caught you up on things. Well the MS is playing games as usual, but the new thing is the electric shocks that go through the body when I am in my wheelchair and my foot hits the ground. It makes for one shocking experience. lol, gotta laugh. Of course I wonder what my neighbors thinking when I am going along in my wheelchair and this happens and then all of a sudden my body jerks or my hand goes flying off my control. They probably just shake their heads and say she is at it again. My neighbors have come to realize that I let nothing slow me down. I work in the yard, but last month when I mowed that was the last time for that, messed up one of the controls on one of my wheelchair and they dont make controls for that chair anymore, so I had to have it repaired. Thank God for the VA, yes I said that. Ever since the DAV organization fought for my rights back in the late 1980s. I usually get what I need and the doctor I have in Crown Point, is usually very good unless her hands are tied by the big machine the VA itself and all its rules. But I shovel and yes have even used the snowblower in my chair. I like this cooler temps because then I can go out without problems. High humidity is so bad for the illness. So for the last 2 weeks I have been going to my friends and Godchilds house and letting the dog out and playing fetch with her for about an hour each day. I do have be careful in going over there it is a little more than a mile away and my newer chair can go back and forth 3 times before I have to charge it again, especially if I take the Jewel (grocery store) route home, then it is longer. So basically I go anywhere from 2 to 3 miles in a trip. I also like the fact that my chair goes 6-7 miles an hour. well I hope you are all doing well. I am off to go do my Tuesday duties, get everything ready for garbage day tomorrow, I do litter boxes everyday, but I but it in a small garbage can and then on Tuesday take the bag from there to the big can. The of course there is the recycling, I have a large box in the house and then it usually takes a week to fill it and then I empty that into the big recycling can. I like to make life easier on myself if I can. Then it will be on to the making of a stuffed meatloaf. I am going to stuff it with fresh mushrooms that I will cook in extra virgin olive oil, minced garlic, and spices. You all have a great day and take care and remember you are in my morning prayers and daily rosary. God Bless you all.
