The HARVEST MOON: Since the Harvest Moon and therefore the largest - TopicsExpress

The HARVEST MOON: Since the Harvest Moon and therefore the largest the moon appears in the sky is in early September this year (2014), WHY is the Feast of Tabernacles going to be attended by the majority in the month called October, and not in the month where the Harvest is finished being gathered in? Are we going back to Jeroboams ways? Doesnt the first month, Abib, have to begin with tender barley, pictured by Wave Sheaf Day preceded by Passover and Gods agricultural year be ended by the closest FULL MOON to the tekufah, or turn of the year, seven months in duration? (Equinox is Sept.23rd, 2014) Does the Jew;s Hebrew calendar averages and calculations really CONSIDER what Scriptures says about Messiah, Wave Sheaf or what God has ever said about His calendar in the heavens, and how it affects the vegetation of the earth, and therefore the early and latter spiritual harvests of His People? Why should Churches of GOD celebrate their holydays when the traditional Hebrew calendar says to by the secrets of Hillel II, without considering what God has said before there ever was a Tribe of Judah, from which Messiah came to be born? The Gregorian calendar will show SUMMER to end sooner this year and appear to be HOTTER in July than usual. Since Sept.8/9 is the Harvest Moon, then what is wrong with having the Festival of Ingathering in the SAME MONTH as the Harvest Moon?: Nothing, it just isnt the popular and traditional thing to do, but it is the right thing to do. There is ample evidence this year of a seventh month that really DOES begin in August and an agricultural year that began the first day of March 2014. almanac/content/full-corn-moon-septembers-moon-guide
