HELLO MY BHCC FRIENDS, My name is Julie Phanord, and I am from Haiti. I have been a student at Bunker Hill Community College since September 2012. This year I am running for Senator at large in the Student Government Association. Bunker Hill is a great stepping stone to start a successful academic journey. It is time for us to realize that BHCC is more than taking classes. BHCC is learning, connecting to our fellow classmates, improving ourselves intellectually and growing every day. I want to collaborate with the SGA following appropriate protocol in order to meet the college’s goals. I personally want to encourage participation in activities that are organized for you, and that connect you to opportunities around you. With your suggestions we can find a more effective way to share these opportunities to all students in order for everyone to benefit. I want to speak for you, but I can’t do it without your help. As an SGA officer, I will represent all of you, because you matter, and your success in all aspect in life is highly esteemed. Elections will be online on May 5th, 6th, and 7th.
