HELLO VISITORS....PLEASE CHECK OUT OUR HINDU PILGRIMAGE TOUR PACKAGE Day 1. Arrival in Kathmandu & transfer to hotel On arrival in Kathmandu airport, you will be greeted by Red Carpet Tours and Travels representative and transferred to hotel. After check in, you can either take a rest or hang around in the city depending on your interest and time constraint. In the evening, there will be a pre-trip discussion, introducing with your Tour guide. Overnight at hotel Day 2. Kathmandu sightseeing After breakfast we start the full day guided sightseeing of Hindu pilgrimage sites, visit Kathmandu pilgrimage spots (Pashupatinath Temple, Budanilkantha Temple, Dakshinkali, Hanuman Dhoka). Lunch will be managed as per your requirement. Overnight stay at Kathmandu hotel * Pashupatinath: is one of the most significant Hindu temples of Lord Shiva in the world, located on the banks of the Bagmati River in the eastern part of Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. **Budanilkantha: In the village of Budanilkantha lies a 5 meter tall sleeping Vishnu (Jalasayana) in the middle of a small pond. ***Dakshinkali: located 22 kilometers outside Kathmandu is one of the main temples of Nepal dedicated to the goddess Kali. **** Hanuman Dhoka: Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square has very interesting sites such as the Taleju Temple, enormous figure of Kal Bhairav who is known as the god of destruction, Basantpur Durbar that was erected by the King Prithvi Narayan Shah. The Big Bell and the Big Drum as well as the Jaganath Temple are also located at the Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square. Day 3. Drive from Kathmandu to Charikot, en route visit Palanchowk Bhagawati After Breakfast, we drive from Kathmandu to Palanchowk Bhagawati temple which is situated over the hill overlooking the valley of Panchkhal. This temple of Palanchowk Bhagwati is said to have been constructed during the reign of King Man Dev. During our drive we get to see splendid views of Himalayan ranges including Mt.Gaurishankar, Ganesh Himal, Annapurna, Mansalu, Langtang and many more. After temple visit we drive to Tato pani for lunch at Hotel Last Resort, which is the point for bungee jumping. Then we drive to Charikot & overnight stay at hotel Day 4. Drive to Kalinchowk Bhagwati and visit Dolakha Bhimsen (Bhimeshwar temple) Early in the morning, starting from Charikot we reach Kalinchowk Bhagawati temple after crossing 19 km passing through Barrack & Deurali and climbing steep slope from Kuri valley, offer puja and on the way back we have breakfast. After breakfast we drive to Dolakha Bhimsen and visit the famous Bhimeshwar temple. Lunch at Charikot and drive to Nagarkot, transfer to hotel. *Kalinchowk Bhagwati: Idols of goddess Bhagwati and Ganesh lies near the pond while bells and trident are placed at periphery. ** Dolakha Bhimsen: The miraculous things of Bhimsen statue of Dolakha include sweating fluid like drops of warm water. People believe that if any bad incident is happening or going to happen in near future in the country then Bhimsen himself tries to protect his people by warning them through sweating etc. Day 5. Sunrise view at Nagarkot and drive to Pokhara Early morning you will enjoy the beautiful sunrise and views of the Himalayas at Nagarkot. After breakfast we drive to Pokhara. En route, we visit Manakamana Temple by Cable Car. Lunch after visiting temple and then drive further to Pokhara and transfer & overnight stay at Pokhara hotel *Manakamana temple: is the sacred place of the Hindu Goddess Bhagwati, an incarnation of Parvati. It is believed that Goddess Bhagwati grants the wishes of all those who make the pilgrimage to her shrine to worship her. Day 6. Pokhara sight seeing After breakfast we begin full day guided sightseeing - visit Pokhara Pilgrimage spots (Tal Barahi, Bindhyabasini Goddess temple visit with Gupteswar Mahadev Darshan, boating in Fewa lake etc.) overnight stay at Pokhara hotel *Tal Barahi: situated almost in the middle of Phewa lake considered as the protector Deity representing the female force. ** Bindhyabasini: Bindhyabasini temple is the center of religious activity in the old bazaar. It is dedicated to goddess Bhagwati, yet another manifestation of shakti. Day 7. Pokhara to Jomsom flight and drive to Muktinath After breakfast, we go to Pokhara airport as per flight time and fly to Jomsom. From there we drive to Muktinath, transfer to hotel. After lunch, we visit the Muktinath temple and offer prayers and puja, during evening time we can look around places in Muktinath, overnight stay at hotel. (* Muktinath: is a sacred place for both Hindus and Buddhists located in Muktinath valley at the foot of Thorong La Pass in Mustang district. Day 8. Drive to Gorahi (Dang) Early morning after breakfast, we drive back to Jomsom by Car/Jeep and take an early flight to Pokhara. Have our lunch at Pokhara and then we drive to Gorahi (Dang) by Car/Jeep which is about 8-9 hours drive, transfer and overnight stay at hotel Day 9. Gorahi-Masina gaun-Swargadwari and drive to Janakpur Early in the morning you will be walked up to the Swargadwari temple which takes about one hour, offer prayers and perform puja. Then we have our breakfast and then depart for Janakpur. Lunch will be provided as per time place and convenience. On arrival at Janakpur you will be transferred to hotel and overnight stay at hotel. (*Swargadwari temple: is a hilltop temple complex and pilgrimage site, commemorating the special of cows in Hinduism. Day 10. Janakpur sightseeing and drive to Ghurmi After breakfast we begin our half day guided sightseeing - visit Janakpur Pilgrimage spots (Janaki Mandir, Ram Sita Bibaha Mandir, Jaleshwar Mahadev temple etc). After lunch we drive to Ghurmi which is approximately 6-7 hours drive, overnight stay at Ghurmi local guest house. *Janaki Mandir: is a Hindu temple dedicated to goddess Sita. The legend had it that it was built on the holy site where Sannyasi Shurkishordas had found the images of Goddess Sita. ** Jaleshwar Mahadev temple: This historic temple of Jaleshwar Mahadev lies in the city of Jaleshwar, the headquarters of Janakpur zone. Just in front of Jaleshwar Mahadev temple there are two sacred ponds, called Barunsar and Kshiresar. During the Ram Navami Bibaha Panchami festivals, thousands of pilgrims assemble at these ponds. Day 11. Visit to Haleshi Mahadev temple Early in the morning we visit Haleshi Mahadev temple. Darshan and puja at Haleshi Mahadev and drive back to Ghurmi. Lunch will be provided as per requirement and time convenience, overnight stay at local guest house in Ghurmi *Haleshi Mahadev temple: it is known as the Pashupatinath of eastern Nepal situated between the holy rivers of Dudh koshi and Sun koshi. The temple is situated at the top of a small hill inside a beautiful cave. There are three mysterious caves which are believed to be the three eyes of lord Shiva. Day 12. Drive from Ghurmi to Lamidanda airport and flight to Kathmandu After breakfast we proceed to the airport as per the scheduled flight time and on arrival at Kathmandu, transfer to hotel, lunch at the hotel and remaining time will be leisure time, either to relax or go for shopping in Kathmandu. In the evening celebrate your amazing trip with farewell Nepali dinner. Day 13 Final departure to your destination Depending upon your departure time, our representative will be waiting at the hotel lounge to drop you off to the airport. Or optionally, you may extend your stay for some other exciting tour packages with us.
