HELP. I have a Brother PC420. I went too fast over a zipper, and the needle broke. I changed the needle, and for some reason during the next stitch is fed the fabric backward (I was not using the reverse stitch). So I took the plate off, cleaned underneath and upon reassembly, the fabric wouldnt feed through at all. Disassembled and cleaned again, to make sure I hadnt missed any small debris. Now it will feed, but not really - I have to pull the fabric through. The feed dogs are moving, but it seems like not enough. What gives?! I have like 6 seams left on a project due this weekend, and the closest repair center is an hour away and a 2 week turnaround. I will try to borrow a friends machine to get me by, but would love to be able to fix myself. Im handy with machines, but cant find any info online about what else to do.
