HELP IS NEEDED from our great Extension Agent for anyone living in Amherst Co..... All Cooperative Extension Offices have been asked to conduct a Situation Analysis of their counties, for 2013, and as the Unit/County Coordinator of Amherst Co. Extension Office, I am heading this up for our office. A Situation Analysis can be done a variety of ways – Focus Group discussions, key informant interviews, and surveys, to name a few. We are hoping to do a combination of all. I would like to ask that anyone living in Amherst County click on our office link below my name, to go to our Office Web Site. There you will find a link to “Amherst County Community Survey”. This is on online survey through Qualtrics, and should take about 5-10 minutes to complete. We need to have these online surveys, as well as the hard copy surveys we are sending out county-wide – covering all geographic areas, as well as all diverse groups (racially and ethnically), completed by Oct. 31, 2013. From there, our office will tabulate these. We then meet with the leaders of our Extension Leadership Council to discuss how our office can better serve the community to meet its needs.
