HELP NEEDED I have two rescued wild burros that are in DESPERATE NEED of a hoof trim. Im talking crippling need!! I have BEGGED AND BEGGED for help from professionals, Humane Society, and Rescues. and I have been advised to just put them down. FRICKIN A....REALLY?!?! KILL EM??? I think thats BULLSHIT. Im Sorry. But damn that made me mad. One I can handle and she will stand for it with hardly any fuss IF at all. Second old gal is scared shitless of humans. I once had to pay a vet $600 to tranquilize her then pay farrier $50 to run in and trim her while she was sleeping. Im sorry. I cant do that again. For obvious reasons. A farrier did trim her front feet once after that, but had to leave fast, said he would be back to finish and never saw him again. He did however stand us up a few times after that. So Im done. So......its been a while and the need is SEVERE!!! I have done basic trims before. Its been a long time. But...I bought my own equipment. It has arrived and now I need some strong people to help me. :-) She is NOT MEAN, She does NOT try to hurt us. Even when man handled in past. She is just scared to death and tries Her best to get the hell away! Its sad, but she usually lays down out of fear and once she does I can run in and get her done while muscle holds her down. I hate it, but I can not see killing her as an option. Period. She is healthy in every other way. So a little fear for a short period is less cruel in my eyes. So........who would be interested in helping out :-) and what days do you have available. :-) The sooner the better for her sake. Thanks for thinking of it.
