HELP.... my mother has interstitial cystitis. The urologist she went to diagnosed her with ic without performing proper diagnoses. Not sure she even has i.c. but has symptoms that are similar to this disease. She has lost almost 40 lbs in about a six month period and continues to lose weight. Basically certain things she eats causes sever pain in the urinary system and vaginal area. Described as razor blades or fire for hours or days after urinating. I tried to go with her to the doctor to set them straight and figure out what is going g on once in for all. I guess i intimidated them because I can tell they didnt want me there. No focus on the direct problems or our questions. My mother is sick physically and mentally because of this and I just want her misery to be over so she can live her life again. Any info or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I love my mother more than life itself and will do anything at all cost to make her better. Thank you in advance to anyone that has any information for me.
