HERE IS THE TEXT OF AN EMAIL I JUST SENT TO ASSEMBLY OF MANITOBA CHIEFS GRAND CHIEF DEREK NEPINAK: Grand Chief Nepinak, I hope you demand a face to face public meeting with Winnipeg Mayoral candidate gord steeves and demand that his wife publicly apologize to all native people for her racist and negative stereotypical hate filled statement she posted on facebook about drunken indians. Winnipeg is the most culturally diverse city in Canada and most likely in the world and to have a high maintenance privileged elitist espousing racism of this low calibre is a clear indicator that her husband should not ever be allowed to hold the position of Mayor of the most culturally diverse City in the world with the largest concentration of Indigenous people as a huge part of its population. Please demand that both her and her husband hold a press conference and both publicly apologize for the blatant racism she exercised. The very prevalent but very false sense of white privilege, ownership, entitlement and superiority has exposed its ugly face again and we must always strive to confront despicable attitudes of this vile nature and use it to educate the greater society that we are not what they are programmed to believe we are. Lorrie Steeves should be educated on why people are in some dysfunctional lifetsyles and what caused them to endure the social addictions and stigmas. Have someone educate her on the many attempts of genocide her countrys governments implemented on us in their many attempts of genocide. The germ warfare through the smallpox infected blankets they distributed to our unsuspecting people, the withholding of rations to starve us out so they could build railroads, the human trafficking in selling our children off in the 60s scoop, the paedophile ring commonly called the residential schools system and the ongoing legislative agenda which all amount to genocide in the end. Can the most culturally diverse city in the world tolerate a white supremacist corporate first family? If she said those words against jews, she would be facing federal charges of contravening federal hate crimes.
