HERES WHAT WAS MEASURED AT MY MOMS Radio Frequency (RF) Pollution: Safe level is below 5 µW (microwatts) per square metre. There is a relatively weak cell tower signal at 3 µW coming from the north which is likely the tower located downtown West Kelowna. The smart meter appears to be transmitting at intervals of between 30 and 50 seconds with bursts of between 50 and 65 µW. The water meter is transmitting at intervals of 11 to 13 seconds and is emitting a radiofrequency beam measured at 2 feet totaling between 180 and 200 µW. A data logger of the radiofrequency radiation was performed for about 45 minutes in the upstairs living room. The smart meter appeared to be relatively dormant at this time with only one burst occurring at about 11:48 AM. It was a significant burst of 2500 µW. It is likely that a long-term data log of the smart meter would prove valuable. Sleep space safety is of prime importance when dealing with this type of pollution. The amount and quality of sleep that we get is a paramount requirement. A safe sleeping space is necessary for good health. The upstairs bedroom is relatively close to the meter and this is of some concern. The downstairs sleeping space is on the other side of the house from the meter and there is some shielding due to walls.
