HEY ....HEY ! My name is Daphne. I am a hound mix, and a senior dog. Can you believe they call me a senior??? I mean , Come on! Look at me!! I am fun, energetic, and ready to go...go...go. I may be older but do not let my age fool you. I am just as playful as a young pup.. I would like just about any home. I get along with other dogs...or so they tell me. I mean, really I do not seem to mind them one bit. I may want to play with them, or just follow them around. I will settle down once my energy runs out... Just like most of my friends here.. the shelter is full of activity. So we can be a bit wild looking when people come in. But we all get so excited. I love walks, hanging out with people and other animals, kids do not bother me, I just hope they know how to love me..cause i would love them back. I love treats of course. I love belly rubs (just look at my pic ...i am cute huh?) I would like to have a warm home when its chilly. And a cool place when it is warm. I would be a good companion to just a single person or a family. Because of my age, around 8-9 years old. I am passed up i guess. I am just guessing because i am a nice dog...yes I am :) But really ...no joking ...seriously...I am not an old dog.! NOPE ..I refuse to believe that!! Age is just a number, right? So how about it?? Come meet me, take me out for a walk...you will see. I still have lots of love to give and walks to take and places to go! and people to be with. hope to see you soon!!! Daphne
