HI all, feeling a little better today and heading out to the historical society meeting tonight. I need to stay involved in the community and do the things I love. Until next election time roles around and I assess what I want, I have plenty of community groups to join in their important initiatives for the town. I am not going away! Election night was difficult for a lot of reasons but the one still stinging is the fact that someone I hold in high regard who was involved in the K of C STILL buys into the bullshit about me wanting to get rid of the K of C tent. So unfortunate that misinformation and misinterpretation is readily accepted instead of giving me the benefit of the doubt when you know me and have seen what I am about. So much disappointment in myself and in the weaknesses of humanity have been surmounted already by surrounding myself with good people who do good things. This means you! Very grateful to all for the warmth and encouragement, the acts of kindness and kind words, the pies, lasagna, soup...dont worry I am keeping my strength up. I will be deactivating this page tomorrow night since I will probably say more emotional things that I will regret as I heal. LOL. not really. L -ing OL I mean.
