HIGH SCHOOL SCORES/RESULTS: The Washington Lady Blue Lion track team captured its fifth consecutive SCOL title Thursday at Washington High School. Washington scored 158.5 points. Hillsboro was second (130.5) and Miami Trace was third with 103.5 points. Chillicothe placed fourth (103), Clinton-Massie took fifth (80), McClain sixth (70.5) and East Clinton seventh (13). The Miami Trace boys track team made it back-to-back SCOL titles Thursday night. The Panthers scored 143 points to 117 for McClain. Chillicothe was third (115) and Hillsboro fourth (93). Clinton-Massie was fifth (88) and the Blue Lions of Washington High School placed sixth with 73 points. East Clinton was seventh with 27 points. In Sectional final baseball action Thursday, in a game played at the VA Stadium in Chillicothe, Logan Elm rallied to defeat Miami Trace, 3-2. The Blue Lions were in action against Hillsboro in the second game and were trailing 2-0 in the fourth inning.
