International Trainer and Business Development Department: Sales & Marketing Location: Centennial Park, Elstree Working hours: Monday to Friday – from 9am to 6pm, 1 hour break Report to: Director of Sales & Marketing & Brand Managers Work in conjunction with: Brand Manager, Account Managers, International Distributors Our client specialises in skincare (Medik8), hair care (Nanogen) and make up products (Magnifibres/Lashfibres). For our key brands, distribution expands across over 30 countries and has been growing fast by providing an innovative and cutting-edge range of solution focused products. We are seeking a loyal and dedicated individual with a strong work ethic to develop a career within its growing marketing team. Main purpose of the Job: The main purpose of this role is to take full responsibility for training, Account development and proactively seek for new business. Key Responsibilities: ● To teach & train in an articulated and professional manner by delivering knowledgeable and enthusiastic training on products and treatments, ensuring consistency within the high standards demanded. The position requires a high level of professionalism, efficiency and effectiveness with honesty and customer enthusiasm at all times. ● Produce all training materials for the whole Medik8 / Nanogen / Lashfibres / Magnifibres range ● Maintain the online training tools available to our partners ● Answer all products questions in a professional manner, always considering different market needs ● Develop appropriate training program for new countries but also for new products launches and treatments ● Supervise our treatment menus and proactively continue to improve them - develop different ones according to market needs ● Be the product champion for Medik8/Nanogen 3x/Lash products and be the first point of contact for all related product questions ● Develop signature treatments for individual accounts when necessary ● Train internal employees / new starters when necessary ● Travel to countries to provide training when requested ● Attend Trade Exhibitions whenever necessary ● Develop appropriate business development program to help developing the brand in professional channels only ● Responsible for owning and leading the development of Key accounts and maximise ongoing growth ● Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets ● Responsible for building business through new leads and opening new accounts ● Conduct regular business analysis and development with key accounts, assisting them to implement strategies that will secure future growth. General operating standards: ● To ensure effective time management ● To plan effectively the delivery of all projects ● To contribute to ideas about the development of the brand and promotional initiatives. ● To work as a team with the other individuals and colleagues in the Company, sharing knowledge when appropriate, helping colleagues and promoting a spirit of mutual respect and support. ● Understand and abide by Company and departmental rules, policies and procedures PERSON SPECIFICATION From an aesthetic/cosmetic science background youll have: ● Beauty Therapy qualification to NVQ level 3 or equivalent ● CIDESCO qualification highly desirable ● Teacher training qualification highly desirable ● Good level and standard of UK/European education or equivalent ● Experience within a training position ● Experience working with a leading professional skincare company ● Hands on experience in aesthetics and beauty procedures (facials and body treatments, chemical peels) - electrical, skin needling and mesotherapy not required but will be an advantage. ● Worked in salon environment at senior level ● Proven track record of increasing salon or clinic revenue/customer retention/number of customers ● Strong business acumen ● A complete understanding of skincare, skin biology and cosmetic ingredients ● General computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint Attributes: ● Self-motivated, enthusiastic and positive approach to their career ● High personal standards and values ● Proactive and assertive attitude ● Dynamic both personally and professionally ● Creative flair ● Smart/Professional appearance ● Friendly and gracious attitude towards management, staff and customers ● Ability to empathize with clients and have a high standard of etiquette ● Open to continuous learning by improving performance by increasing own efficiency, initiate courses of action and willingly take on new responsibilities SALARY AND BENEFITS ● 30k + bonus ● Realistic rewards, both financially and through career progression, for the right individual ● 28 days paid holiday (20 + 8 bank holidays) per year up to maximum of 33 days after 5 years full service ● Additional perks and benefits including company loyalty bonus ● Free Gym Membership If this sounds like you, please send us your CV including a short covering letter stating why you would like to be considered for the role and what skills you think you could bring to the business to [email protected] Or visit adaptresourcing.co.uk/jobdetail.php?jid=194
