HMAS Parramatta Officers and Sailors would like to wish all our friends, families and Facebook followers a Merry Christmas. Parramatta has had a busy year, which has included Operation RESOLUTE patrols, Operation SOLANIA in the South Pacific and monitoring a Russian Task Group in the Coral Sea. We have also been involved in the sea phases of the training courses for Marine Technicians, Surface Combatant Navigators and Principal Warfare Officers. 2015 will be an exciting year for Parramatta and the crew, as we sail to Fleet Base West in late January and prepare Parramatta for the ASMD upgrade, and the crew transfer onto Warramunga. We would all like to thank you for the support you have provided the ships company. We all appreciate it, especially when we are at sea. Have a safe Christmas holiday period.
