HODGE-PODGE #35 (Nov. 5,2013) Still hazy and groggy from the rages - TopicsExpress

HODGE-PODGE #35 (Nov. 5,2013) Still hazy and groggy from the rages of the earthquake, here we are preparing for the super typhoon Yolanda. Whereas before, we transferred our little chooses of action to our bahay kubo, we are now returning them to what are left of our former residential house. All important materials such as documents, stereo, TV, computer, printer and the like are placed inside our three refs which are all (maybe) no longer functioning as provider of cold drinks. But, have converted them into another kind of household furniture, this time, they have become dependable estante. If I want my shoes, I just open the freezer. Of course all my law books are happily ensconced inside the refrigerator. I reminded our alalay that the refs are no longer refrigerators and cautioned her (with bold eyes ) not to plug them in electrical outlets, otherwise, we will be eating frozen shoes (the brand - Elpo and sturdee). Tomorrow we will be bracing the other unfinished house, the piggery and the tree house where we are staying. We have collected from the rain yesterday for cooking, and still have plenty of distilled water ( part of relief goods delivered to us) and rice with canned goods. My wife and me will hold a round table meeting tomorrow to decide where to evacuate our breeders (sows) and their children (they have 18 piglets). I think we have still time to do that because Yolanda will come by Thursday or early Friday yet. Lets pray and prepare at the same time.
