HOME AND AWAY: The Good About Great Britain The good thing that I have learnt from Britain is cooking for myself, something I never did when in Africa. Even when I was in the Gambia, I was eating every day cookery or in a restaurant. Furthermore, I have learnt to kill my emotions. I use to act violently to conflicts but the discipline here has trained me to be a cool man and made me to treat issues with diplomacy. The threat handing on all of us here is Criminal Record Bureau (CRB), an institution meant to keep records of any criminal engagement. If you have a blemish on your CRB, it becomes difficult to secure a job. Crimes like assault, fraud, theft, illegal drug dealing, etc., will make you to be black listed with the criminal bureau. On this note, we all have to be careful not to be trapped within the criminality region. My records are good as I am conscious of the implications of criminal actions. I would not want to be in prison except if I am forced to by authorities due to human rights activism. I remain to be a good global citizen and that God have never stepped in a prison, except for one time I was locked for one day Bo police station for fight six police officers for injustice. The lock up happen at the eve of the time I was to have my A Level economics exams. The other incident happen in Tongo Field during the civil war in Sierra Leone when I disarmed a military officer wanting to shoot me due to girl friend rivalry. My caution to all is to try hard to stay away for trouble. There are temptations out there. People may try to test your emotions but it is a good thing not to react. The best thing is to stay away from trouble and be resilient to whatever temptations that may face you. A harsh countervailing power is not the best choice and remember to keep your CRB clean.
