HOME NEEDED-NORTHAMTONSHIRE animals-in-need.org/maxicare Oakley Staffie Oakley is a handsome 5 year old staffie boy who due to unfortunate circumstances has found himself back in rescue. Oakley is fully housetrained and knows basic commands. He loves his squeaky toys, sausages and has a real thing for pillows and cushions! He also enjoys a nice walk and a run around with his ball. He is not keen on the seaside or swimming! This affectionate boy is very loving and loyal however he does come with some challenges.. he suffers from severe summer allergies (grass, dust and pollen) and also has very sensitive paws. These conditions need to be treated through medication which although not massively expensive does need to be taken into consideration when rehoming due to the annual vets bills. He also needs a visit to the groomers once a month to ensure he is bathed with medicated shampoo to again assist with his allergies. He is OK with most other dogs however would not be good company with another dominant male. A child free home is a must for Oakley. He is OK to be left for approx. 3-4 hour maximum, any longer than that and he can suffer from separation anxiety which results in him licking his already sensitive paws. This gorgeous boy would be a wonderful addition to any staffie loving family who can give him the time, dedication and love that he is used to.
