.HOMER TO BE DESTROYED 10/27/13 Manhattan Center - P ✘O ✘O ✘O Homer (A0981915) is an adorable, young, 60-pound guy with a great SAFER, who is quite sick with kennel cough and for that, hes facing death. A volunteer writes: Handsome Homer is 2 years old and hes an energetic, strong dog who was thrilled for an outing to the park! Likely house trained, Homer went as soon as he went out the door. Homer is a long legged, lanky and elegant boy who loves company, loves to play and needs some exercise. He jumps on the leash a bit in his excitement to have someone to play with, so may need some training to learn the leash is not a toy. Homers smart and knows how to sit when asked to, taking treats gently, so will learn quickly. He allowed me to dress him up in a bow tie and looked quite rakish if I do say so myself! And he would say so too, if he could talk... Off leash in the back yard Homer is not interested in playing ball, but content to explore the area, returning to my side for some hugs and kisses. Greeting other dogs who stop by the pen with a friendly wag of his tail, Homer seems to enjoy their company. If you are looking for an exercise partner, who after a work out will be happy cuddling up for some loving, Homer is your man so dont waste time. Get up and at em!!!
