HON BABATUNDE ODUNAYO OLAOTAN was born on september 13th 1972 in Ilaro Ogun state into a family of with long history of honesty, uprightness and service to humanity. His father Pa. Gabriel Alabi Olaotan Popularly Called Baba Olooto or Baami is from Owode Yewa a retired teacher who believed honesty and truthfulness is the essence of life and every other thing is vanity, while his mother Mrs. Susan Tolari Olaotan(Nee Ogunlade) is from Ajilete and Maternal Grandmother from Ilobi Yewa south, The Erinle Family. She is also a retired Head Teacher who taught in Various Primary schools within and outside Yewa impacting knowledge. Hon Babatunde Started his primary education at YSLG Primary school Owode Yewa from 1979-1985 where he was the head boy, he proceeded to Area Community High School Owode Yewa for his secondary education between 1986-1992, he was the Social Prefect of the school. He further his education at Federal polytechnic Ilaro where he obtained his OND and HND respectively between the year 1994-1999. He served the nation through the national youth service corps(NYSC), he was posted to Central Bank Of Nigeria. He was gainfully Employed by the first bank of Nigeria after his NYSC but barely two months after Resumption he was given appointment at the Yewa south local government as supervisor for Agric for his selfless service, he opted for the appointment because he believes in serving his people and saw it as an avenue to get closer to them. He started active politics in 1992, having notice his active and selfless role in the community he was called upon to join the Social Democratic Party(SDP) by a reputable party Leader Hon(Chief) Mufutau Ajibola. Hon Babatunde Olaotan has been fortunate to gain ample experience internationally during his sojourn abroad. He traveled to the United kingdom(UK) in 2004 to further his education, he was at Manchester College Of Professional Studies where he studied Computer and information Technology. He started his working carrier with NWSG company in UK, where he distinguished himself as an hardworking and dedicated employee with various awards. He relocated to the United State Of America in 2007, he was at the Camtech International College Newark, Delaware USA, where he studied Nursing. He work at Cadia Rehabilitation Wilmington and Regal Height Nursing Home where he distinguished himself as an outstanding team leader with several Awards. Hon Babatunde is a grassroot politician who has always maintain an open door policy because he understood that a leader is a ultimately a public servant, he met with his people regularly to hear their views and give a report of his stewardship being the Consultant to The Governor on Local Government Affairs(Yewa South) presently. In the last couple he has actively mobilized support (Grassroot and Elites) for ACN which metamorphosed into APC merger with other Political parties. For his active roles in the party he was called by his people in 2012 to contest for the Local Government Chairmanship position. Hon Babatunde Olaotan is an active member of various Societies within and outside Yewa, he is happily married with children, a caring husband, father and a peopless Choice with integrity. Hon Babatunde Olaotan is vying for the post State Of Assembly, Yews South State Constituency and He is indeed the Man of People and The Peoples Choice............
