Daisy has completed the Good Mojo Dog Center Manners and Self Control Class. This class is designed to teach dogs to exhibit good manners during mild to medium distractions, to listen to their handler the and respond appropriately to cues the first time they are given, and to learn self control with food, distractions, toys and other dogs. Daisy excelled in this class. She exhibited great self control and focus with her handler. She was engaged, eager to learn, and appropriately interested in her surroundings (including other dogs and people) while showing self control and lack of impulsive behavior. During the 7 week program Daisy became more invested in the class and more excited to come. She was appropriately social while exhibiting the self control to not have any unwanted behavior such as jumping on people for attention or growling, barking or other outbursts at other dogs (behaviors we sometimes see in other dogs). She was, instead, curious and engaged while watching in a controlled, happy manner. Daisy was a sweet, affectionate dog, and an exemplary student.
