** WORKDAY ANALYST ** Agency: Starpoint Solutions Company: Dollar Financial Group Location: Berwyn, PA Duration: 6-7 months ________________________________________ POSITION DESCRIPTION: Responsible for improving the efficiency of and customer satisfaction with all centralized HR processes provided by the HR Operations organization by implementing and enhancing the HR systems that enable and support these processes. This position works closing with IT staff members and HR directors and managers to lead HR system implementations and enhancement projects. The person in this role will rely on his/her technical skills and experience and knowledge of the HR function to develop systems solutions for functional HR process requirements. The incumbent is a key resource for management in their efforts to make accurate, informed business decisions based on HR data and processes. A strong orientation toward customer service and customer satisfaction is required in this role. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: ▪ Provide leadership in the design, development, testing, and implementation of Workday HRIS system and business processes. ▪ Develops accurate database reports that meet requirements and standards of users. ▪ Conducts high level analysis, data validation and implements auditing programs to ensure data integrity. ▪ Troubleshoot system problems by working with IT and takes corrective action. Coordinates changes to database and works with users and IS Dept to develop appropriate data/information changes. ▪ Assists HRIS Manager in analysis, design, development, implementation and troubleshooting. ▪ Assists Payroll/Compensation/Benefits departments by troubleshooting production issues, working with IT on new interface development, and supporting them with open enrollments. ▪ Provide support as backup to HRIS Manager and data entry function ▪ Works directly with users of data to resolve data integrity issues and inappropriate data usage ▪ Responsible for the testing and impact analysis of all changes to HR systems ▪ Conducts audits to ensure data integrity is being maintained ▪ Formulate and monitor policies, procedures and standards related to database management. ▪ Responsible for security and integrity controls in conjunction with IT. ▪ Continually monitor Human Resource information needs and act as a technical advisor in the design of new or the modification of existing systems to meet changing requirements. ▪ Provide technical operations and training support to users of HRIS system. ▪ Act as a liaison between Human Resources department and Information Technology department to plan additions and modifications to HRMS. ▪ Determine scope of HRMS by consulting with Human Resource executives and other management to assess organizational needs for Human Resource information EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATIONS: ▪ Minimum of 5 years of related experience in either an HR function providing technical support or a technical function providing support to HR. ▪ Report development experience using SQL, XML/XSLT, Microsoft Access, or other query tools. ▪ Demonstrated experience in extracting and manipulating system data from large databases. ▪ Experience in working on technical project implementation teams, preferably experience in leading a team. ▪ PMP certification is desirable but not required. ▪ Experience in global HRIS implementations, including the deployment of employee and manager self-service, is desirable but not required. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: ▪ Possesses professional writing, presentation skills and project management skills ▪ Possesses negotiation skills ▪ Must exhibit professional maturity. ▪ Customer Service Focus and Orientation. ▪ Strong technical aptitude and analytical skills. ▪ Demonstrated ability to learn challenging new technologies. ▪ Prior programming or XML/XSLT transformation is desirable but not required. ▪ Orientation toward always wanting to find a better ways to increase efficiency and increase customer service. ▪ Proficiency with desktop software including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. ▪ Knowledge of the Human Resources function. ▪ Demonstrated skill in process improvement and project implementation. ▪ Ability to prioritize work and complete multiple, concurrent projects with numerous individual tasks.
