HOT NEW RELEASE! Dakota Nights Music Video debuts not only a star-studded celestial celebration happening next weekend but a talented group of National Park Service staff at Theodore Roosevelt National Park. youtu.be/nqwe1a1qjdw Enjoy, like, and share to salute this amazing staff! BEHIND THE SCENES: The Official Dakota Nights Music Video is the culmination of many talented and passionate Theodore Roosevelt National Park Seasonal employees and interns. It all started when Linda Morton, South District Interpreter, asked Tony Helou, an SCA interpretation intern working in the North Unit, if he could write a song for the upcoming astronomy festival: Dakota Nights. Tony wrote the lyrics and the music over the course of several weeks. Jeffery Zylland and Amanda Allen, South Unit Seasonal Interpretation Rangers, set up recording sessions once the song was ready. Tony played rhythm guitar and was the lead singer. Calyssa Kremer, SCA Interpretation Intern working in the South Unit, sang back-up vocals. Joe Bruce, Seasonal Education Technician, played lead guitar. Once recorded, Jeff and Amanda edited and produced the video. Jeff produced much of the photography and videography. #dakotanights
