HOUSING UPDATE - Everyone has made temporary housing - TopicsExpress

HOUSING UPDATE - Everyone has made temporary housing arrangements for the immediate future. They are still working on securing permanent housing, a process that is slow and involves much paperwork and patience. Todays request is for ongoing prayers as they all continue to establish new housing: * Bob and Janice McGoven, the homeowners who are in their 70s, are hoping and praying for a nice, quiet, 1 or 2 bedroom senior living apartment, that they can afford on a fixed income. * Casey McGoven, Bobs son who lived in the upstairs apartment, hopes to relocate to Fargo with his job and begin a new life and find an affordable apartment there. * Lori Anderson and her teen children, have been able to connect with other family members and pursue other avenues for assistance and fund-raising efforts. In the near future, there will be a FUNDRAISER IN GRAND FORKS TO RAISE FUNDS FOR BOB, JANICE, AND CASEY MCGOVEN to assist in their resettlement efforts. Eventually, there will be a call out for household items for them, as they set up new homes. THANK YOU FOR THE OUTPOURING of material donations which got all of them through this first week after the fire. Winter gear, shoes, coats, clothing, personal items, food, and gift cards have truly been a Godsend from you. Thank you! PLEASE KEEP THIS FACEBOOK PAGE ALIVE, and refer back to it often for updated information and news. And please share on your own page and help to get the world out to as many people as possible.
