HOUSTON -- A dog was set on fire and burned to death in the sewer system in northwest Harris County on Saturday morning. The burned dog was found in the sewer at the intersection of Ella Crossing and Burnell Oaks Lane. “It appears the dog was dumped and set on fire,” said Harris County Fire Marshal investigator Scott Schoonover.
