HOW MUCH DOES YOUR LIFE WORTH??? How much does human life worth in Nigeria ??? I have thought over this question and tried to answer this question but I could not seem to have an answer that is satisfactory to me because with events in the past and recent ones shows that human life is not worth up to a pieces of paper Gideon Akaluka in kano and the alleged desecration of some religious papers in far away Denmark leads to slaughter of so many Nigerians and yet nothing happened Again in my confusion in determining the worth of life in this country is human life worth more than that of an Animals the answer is no the events in in Jos Benue katsina and Kaduna where herds men slaughter hundred of people because they protested against destruction of their farms by this herds mens animals. not satisfied with the answers yet in my mind wondering in search of answer to this question I asked my self what of religion or faith no human life in Nigeria can not worth more than faith if some one who had received Western education turned overnight and said his faith or religion has identified western education is evil Boko haram the sect has slaughtered men women infant school children etc and received 1.5 million as sallah gift from a Nigerian law maker and as well received support from well meaning Nigerians and leaders then no human life is not worth more than FAITH does it worth more than money I asked my self why do people kidnap people and ask for ransom and after receiving the cash yet they end up killing the victims, what of power the quest for power has lead to many political killings rituals killings etc so what is the worth of human life in Nigeria. A dead isreali solders corpse was exchanged for thousand of Palestinian militia men same for Lebanese fighters America can go to war because of one single citizen jailed or killed it took the life of a street trader in Tunisia for the citizens to chase away their leadership Egypt is still unstable because of a similar incident the arabe spring started Ukrainians chased away their leader because 24 persons died during protest what of Lybea to mention but a few. come to think of it a country deserves the type of leader it gets no wonder we are docile we can not protest to reject enslavement because we are afraid of pain suffering death yet we suffer through poor economic and human management, yet we suffer through several horrible experiences in hospital school bad roads admission to schools unemployment etc and yet we suffer death in Churches schools hostels masques death in bad roads lack of good hospitals in our farms, by the way why will they not ask our hungry and unemployed youths to pay #1000 for a form to come and die in a stadium simply because we are docile and bereft of resilience this may be the beginning
