HOW TO PREPARE FOR AN ECONOMIC CRISIS OF BIBLICAL PROPORTIONS (Event by Crown Financial Ministry) It has been 6 years since the global financial crisis happened. Described as an epic “once in a century” event, the crisis almost brought the entire world economic, banking and financial systems to the brink of collapse. Five years after 2008, the world is still grappling for ways to avert another epic financial crisis. Meanwhile, all signs are pointing to another economic event of similar if not greater proportions. Epic economic and financial events are not new in the world. In the bible, there were at least four major financial events that were recorded from the time of the patriarchs to the time of the first century church. While each event was devastating in impact, God was able to turn those events into opportunities for His people to reveal His power and might and to enable them to reach out to those who have yet to know Him. 1. Will there be another financial crisis like 2008 or worse and when will it happen? 2. If and when it does happen, will God’s people be prepared to rise up and seize the opportunities? 3. More importantly, how should Christians prepare themselves for future epic financial events so that they can stand firm when the battle at Armageddon comes?
