HOW TO RYTHMICALLY COPE WITH THE FAST MOVING MODERN WORLD. Modern day living is complex indeed. With super highway of information flying everywhere, information comes uncensored to the palm of our hands, desk of our homes and top of our laps. Sometimes it becomes too much to handle by our ever open and non-defensive mind. That being on one end, on the other end is our coping with this fast moving world. Businesses that were prominent for years can become redundant overnight .People relying on these businesses for income, be it the business owners or more importantly the employees are suddenly left in a limbo. That being one issue, the other is ever escalating prices of goods and services. The speed of increase is not equivalent to the speed of income growth, especially those relying on salaried incomes. What about relationships in modern era? Are people truly happy or are we just paddling along hither thither like boats without rudders? The divorce rate is increasing drastically and singles are now shunning away from the marriage institution. Single mothers coming out of wedlock and single mothers yet to be locked within the sacred institution are on the rise. No wonder sometimes in FB the marital status is written as married, single or complicated. That is what the status is now – complex and complicated. What one should do now, one may ask. The right answer is not prayers alone for it sometimes has caused a sort of escapism from reality without any solution. People are dragging themselves with a lot of frictions hoping that some big hand from up there will lift them away from all their problems. Some go to grave with that believe in mind. Maybe they might meet the creator and confront him on why he was silent to all their prayers. He might give them various answers or he might throw them back to earth with an advice to learn more so that such questions would have been answered on earth itself. Earth bound we are now with a journey towards heavenly home to become the boundless self again. As boundless divine energy, we entered the earth’s realm during our birth, that boundless divine energy, we must become when we live it’s realm during our death. How to become boundless one may ask? The answer is entrenched well within ourselves. Our boundless being, the source of the universal light or called in short as SOUL was created eons ago. Whether we believe it or not, whether we follow a path of religion or not, one thing is for sure this SOUL was created by the ultimate creator of all creations. A creator called by various names by the theologian and the scientist. From that origin of creation, this boundless energy has taken various forms through various kingdoms (microcosm, plant, animal, human and divine kingdoms). When attaining the human kingdom, we were raised as the co-breeder and co-creator by the creator himself. Through us he made us to give the best of the best for fellow travelling souls. Through each other, we yearned, we learned and we earned. We earned not only to live the life here but also to life the life in the other world as angels and so forth. As co-creator, the creator has built within us a self-sustaining, self-maintaining and self-enhancing mechanism. We just need to realize that mechanism and use it to withstand the impact of modern creations created by our fellow co-creators. Through using these inbuilt devices we will be able to have a balanced life - health wise, wealth wise and relationship wise. The methods may vary according to the path that we take but the concept of using the mechanism is the same just as set by the ancient masters during the pre-religion days. The Vedic methods they call it. It does not belong to any particular religion but is used by different names with the objective to reach the same goal – calm, peace and prosperity. Let us now dwell on these concepts just as they were created:- 1.MANTRA – is a mechanism to keep the mind calm and composed so that it will be on a meditative state at any given moment of now. ‘MAN’ in the ancient language of Sanskrit and Tamil means mind and “Tra” means to churn i.e. anything that is used to keep the mind balanced. It can be prayer, it can be recital of the scriptures, it can be chanting of a special verse from the scriptures or it can be just singing the name of the creator that is fully and firmly accepted in the heart. 2.MUDRA –while mantra aligns the mind, mudra aligns the body. Mudra is Sanskrit for seal, mark, or gesture. Typically, mudras are used during meditation or pranayama as a way to direct energy flow in the body. According to yoga, different areas of the hand stimulate specific areas of the brain. By applying light pressure to these areas of the hand, you will “activate” the corresponding region of the brain. 3.KALPANA – while Mantra balances the mind and mudra aligns the body KALPANA or visualizations lets the soul know what the Self wants. When asked within the realm of the mind through visualization, it will be churned through the mind and the 7 chakras who will relate it to the universe. The SELF becomes a corresponding and broadcasting station. What is corresponded here at the realm of a clam and composed mind will be responded by the universe and soon it will be broadcasted by the body through its 5 senses. So, to live a beautiful live in this fast moving modern world, we should not look neither up nor down but look within through the divine mechanism provided by the ultimate provider. The speed of life is not within our control but the rhythm of life is. Rhythmically we should attune ourselves to the maker and in the process we remake ourselves to continue achieving a remarkable way of life. BE YOU, BE NOW, BE ALL Love & Light, mahadevan
