HR Manager needed at an International Manufacturing Company! M(1) Responsibilities • Create and manage personnel planning programs and action plans to recruit, select, train, evaluate and develop employees at all levels in the organization. • Counsel the members of Senior Management on a wide range of personnel issues related to policy matters, management/employee development, compensation, benefits, performance evaluation, staffing, conflict resolution, employment law and safety. • Manage the development, implementation and enforcement of policies in the KMC Employee Handbook. Develop and propose progressive ideas to improve the management and cost effectiveness of KMC benefits programs and KMC risk management functions (Property, General Liability, Workers Compensation, and Vehicle). • Negotiate and manage relationships with outside vendors/suppliers to deliver a range of services in support of Human Resources (recruiting, training), Benefits (Healthcare), Risk Management (Insurance) and Administration (facilities, maintenance contracts, security, vehicle, Company Bus and cell phone programs). • Manage the processes of organizational development and compensation planning to review organization design, job content, process and/or compensation structures to keep the Company current with industry and payment plans that are competitive in the marketplace. • Insure that the Company is in compliance with all laws pertaining to Human Resources or Administration (facilities and Warehouse Operations), by managing the administration, investigation, reporting related to specific laws or regulations in Myanmar. • Protect the rights of employees and management through the investigation and resolution of all employee complaints; allegations of unfair, inappropriate or discriminatory behavior towards an employee or between employees and management; progressive disciplinary action, termination for cause and interface with outside counsel on all legal matters related to the Human Resources function. • Manage facilities and the administration of infrastructure support systems to provide a work environment that facilitates productivity. • Develop and manage safety programs that promote consistent safe work practices throughout KMC. • Plan, manage and measure the function’s human resources and develop a strong service workforce to ensure future growth of the company. Position has latitude to hire and fire assigned staff. • Develop and manage operating budgets for assigned functions. Requirements • College Degree, preferable Major in Human Resources, Personnel Management, Organizational Development or similar related area of study. • 10 or more years of management experience in human resources. • Proven knowledge and understanding of all Human Resources functions and processes; • Demonstrated effectiveness in presenting ideas in a clear and concise manner, project and program management and the ability to think well on your feet; • Strong oral and written communication skills; • Demonstrated ability to coach and counsel all levels of employees on a wide range of issues, including personal development, professional development, employee relations, performance and conflict resolution; • Analytical and problem solving skills to draw from one’s experience to propose new and innovative solutions to a range of challenges and problems facing Human Resources at KMC. • Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
