HRM says in its questions and answers document that it will not - TopicsExpress

HRM says in its questions and answers document that it will not discuss the Dillon peer review reports and the review by Dr. Paul Arnold because Council gave direction for staff to only consult on the Stantec recommendations. However, they also are consulting on the SNC Lavalin report. Clearly, they are only consulting on things that support staffs agenda, and are ignoring dissenting opinions. That is inexcusable and unacceptable. Good news though. Because we are committed to ensuring that residents have access to all of the information available, the CMC has arranged for a representative from Dillon and for Dr. Arnold to be at the consultation meetings this week and next. They will be at the CMC table. Come out and talk to them, they will answer all of your questions in an open and transparent manner. Get the information that HRM doesnt want you to have. Unfortunately, it looks like Stantec is still being kept under wraps by HRM. What is up with that anyway? Why is HRM afraid to have Stantec defend their recommendations to the taxpayers who paid for them?
