HTC One gold-plated edition can be yours for $3,000 bit.ly/12llUv5 Who’s ready to break the bank and rock their new HTC One smartphone with true style? Last week we mentioned Goldgenie was offering up limited edition Galaxy S4 smartphones, and this week they’ve announced they’ll be doing the same for the HTC One. You can get it completely customized with a gold-plated finish, platinum, or even rose gold if you’d like. It’ll cost you though, but take a peek at how pretty it is below. GoldGenie has been doing this for a while, so this really shouldn’t come as a huge surprise to anyone. They will now let you get an HTC One wrapped in 24ct. gold. It’s SIM free, factory unlocked, and is even the 32GB model. If you want to be luxurious and have some serious baller status with your smartphone, this would be a good place to start. Just like previous offerings, GoldGenie offers everything you’d usually get from the manufacturer, and then some. The high price you pay will get you a limited edition collectable Cherry Oak box and carry case, a certificate of authenticity, and of course a one-of-a-kind beautiful smartphone. They’ll be asking roughly $3,000 for the gold-plated model, and then the price only gets higher for Rose Gold or the Platinum dipped model. While the $3k or £1895 asking price may seem ridiculous, we’ve seen similar products reach upwards of $10,000 so this is technically a “good deal” if we dare call it that. The Galaxy S4 from GoldGenie sold out quick, surprisingly, so if you’re eying this for yourself and that HTC One you better hurry and pull out that Black AMEX card.
