((( HUMAN LIFE IN DANGER ))) Fellow Rescuers, I really need you right now. I focus in Cat rescue and do not have the resources at this time to take on dogs. I have provided aid to the surrounding police departments that have homeless programs of trying to locate family or just get the homeless off the street. I usually am contacted for assistance as families of homeless are located and willing to take them in as well as their devoted furry companions. Providing health exams, certificates and travel gear for the pets. I am now faced with a different circumstance. This homeless woman doesnt have family nor anyone who can take her in. The police department has been trying to get her off the street now for over a year, but she simply would refuse because she wasnt about to leave her two dogs behind. They have finally been able to get her to agree to let them get her off the streets and let go of her dogs for adoption. She will not save herself unless a loving rescue who will do the right thing for her dogs will take them. Living on the streets as a homeless person is very dangerous. They get sick and cant get help or have the sense to know how to get help. The women are raped by homeless men. They are often so scared of being raped that many wont shower even if they have the opportunity to in fear of being raped. You will not only be saving the lives of two precious and sweet pittie mixes, but you are saving actual human life!!!!! The details that I have is they are 7 years old. They have mild temperaments, very sweet and very loving. Information received comes through the police department so it is hard to get a lot of the details.
