The definition of Humble,not proud or arrogant; modest: to be humble although successful.having a feeling of insignificance, inferiority, subservience, etc.This virtue is one of the most important message that God wanted us to maintain in our Christian lives.Christ demostrated his humiltiy, Philippians 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Christ as we all know,that He is the Son of God but He humbled Himself,persecuted but He never retaliated,they nailed Him at the cross,instead of cursing them,He prayed for them that they will be enlightened and it will lead them to repentance.1 John 5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. Proverbs 22:4 – By humility and the fear of the Lord Are riches and honor and life. Romans 12:3 – For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. Matthew 23:12 – And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted. King David was exalted from an ordinary citizen of jewish community,He became the second king of Israel.MAINTAIN THIS VIRTUE AND GOD WILL EXALT YOU .
