He crossed his paws and waited so long in a spotless cage to be walked, and then walked to calmly out to the curb before relieving himself. Walking with him to the park is like being escorted by a gentleman to a party. He never leaves your side, he checks in on you, and his tail is so sweetly waggy. And his intelligence! Ask him any command and it is done, and no matter your mood, he reads it--want to have fun? Hell play. Want to sit quietly on the park bench? He lies down at your feet. This is a great, great, great dog. We cant say it enough, and hope we dont have to say it too much longer, because you will have come to take him home! Another volunteer writes: Say hello to Mr Perfect!!! The wow factor of this guy cannot be emphasized enough, Simba is off-the-charts amazing and to meet him once is to love him forever. Hes everything a good dog should be; gentle, obedient and amiable with people and dogs alike and from Pitties to Spaniels, no one is overlooked on his rounds as he makes sure everyone gets a little tail wag and nose sniff. And talk about smart - if there was a doggie version of Mensa, this guy would be president! Simba knows his own name and all the commands you can think of, he likes to play ball and will immediately retrieve and then drop it for me to throw again and his level of responsiveness and attention to his handler is simply remarkable. Were told hes: crate trained, house trained (oh yes!) and gets along well with children. Apparently his former owners have no time for Simba anymore and while its hard to believe anyone could bear to part with such a pet, why not let their loss be your gain? I cant think of a better companion to while away the crisp days and cold nights to come than this polite, playful and incredibly handsome pup.
